Our most popular local itinerary, these climbs are 10 to 15 minutes from most Vail Valley hotels, require only a 5 minute approach walk, and offer fun and challenging climbing for everyone.
Routes range in height up to 60 feet tall, with crack climbing and face climbing, sport and traditional. It's the perfect area for a beginner’s first day out, an intermediate's quick fix, or our popular gear clinic.
Apex provides all of your technical climbing gear (i.e. climbing shoes, harnesses, helmets, belay equipment, ropes, and other gear) for your day with us. Ask your guide for information on what to bring. A gourmet deli lunch is available on request.
