Intermediate Backcountry Skiing:
This course is for skiers with backcountry experience and advanced resort skiers. Focus is on maximizing efficiency, avalanche awareness and terrain selection, and ripping more committing lines.
AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course:
American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education(“AIARE”) is the industry standard for avalanche awareness and education. Our Colorado based AIARE Level 1 course comes with a certificate of completion, and topics include search and rescue techniques, basic snowpack tests, route finding and decision making in avalanche terrain, and more. This 3 day course is essential for all backcountry skiers, snowboarders and enthusiasts.
This 3 day avalanche course is a great way for skiers, snowboarders, ice climbers and enthusiasts to learn the basics of avalanche awareness. Learn the proper technique for using a beacon, probe and shovel, as well as safe travel techniques and more. Combine this course with a backcountry hut trip for an exciting and educational multi-day experience.
