Treat all potential avalanche terrain with respect and caution. Utilize weather forecasts, avalanche reports, and good judgement when traveling in prone areas. If possible avoid terrain traps such as steep terrain in sparse timber, known avalanche paths, and drainage's with steep bordering slopes.
