Multi pitch rock climb with Apex on the iconic Flatirons of Boulder, Colorado. These sandstone slabs tower above Boulder and provide exciting climbs and incredible panoramic views.
The first five Flatirons are known for their spectacular alpine multi pitch moderate routes. This trip is great for your first of fiftieth multi pitch rock climb. These routes are enjoyed by beginner and intermediate rock climbers alike. Topics covered during this trip may include:
- multi pitch knot use, including:
- figure 8
- double fishermans
- munter hitch
- clove hitch
- placing and removing gear
- ERNEST anchors
- transitions/efficiency
- complex ascents/descents
If you prefer single pitch rock routes, no problem; our experienced guides can take you on exciting single pitch routes in the Flatirons area. These crags offer an extensive variety of routes ranging from beginner to advanced.
Rock climbing the Flatirons of Colorado is available to all fitness levels. No multi pitch experience necessary. We provide all technical gear needed for multi pitch and single pitch ascents (harness, helmet, rock climbing shoes, ropes, protection, etc.).
