Wilderness Medicine

SOLO Wilderness Medicine, with over 30 years of expertise, and Apex Mountain School have joined forces in an effort to provide the highest quality Wilderness First Responder, WFR recertification, and Wilderness Advanced First Aid training courses in the state of Colorado.

Our SOLO courses are staged at Camp Hale, just outside of Vail, Colorado. Courses are held in Camp Hale’s 6000 sq foot log lodge and the surrounding mountain terrain. Indoor classes are comfortable and interactive, and Camp Hale provides the ideal outdoor setting for “real-life” scenarios.

Apex has provided SOLO courses in Colorado for 5 years running.
