Eli Loper

Eli Loper is a Colorado local; born and raised in Golden, Colorado. He spent his youth wandering the forest in the foothills of Denver. There he garnered his appreciation for being outdoors. His first opportunity to share his love for nature came in the form of guiding fly fishing on Gore Creek and Eagle River. He didn’t agree with the ethics or sustainability of fly fishing guiding and evolved into a raft guide. Rafting soon turned into kayaking and he began to take part in expeditions. Kayaking expeditions can involve climbing and rappelling to access some of the deepest canyons around the world.

Nowadays, when Eli isn’t working for Apex he enjoys speed flying, which is a a form of miniature paragliding. You can find him with the Spiruline or Mirage looking for favorable winds.
